Biafra: Ohanaeze backs IPOB, MASSOB

Ohanaeze
From Chidi Nnadi, Enugu The apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has expressed its unflinching support for agitation for a sovereign state of Biafra. The organisation announced its backing at a press conference organised by its Secretary General, Dr Joe Nworgu even as Ohanaeze revealed it was set hand over to new national officers in January after election and to confirm the ban placed on the youth wing of the organisation. Nworgu said that the continued marginalisation of the Igbo has made the agitation for the state of Biafra inevitable, saying that Igbo adults are as disgruntled as the youths who are leading in the agitation for Biafra. He said Ohanaeze had not condemned the Biafran agitation by the youths, asking “why should we condemn what is true?” According to him,“the difference is that while the parent body is preaching patience, the youths don’t have time for such; youths must be youths, so they are responding in their own ways. But the problem is the same injustice, insensitivity, exclusionism. All these factors are creating the agitation, but the conclusions are different.

The elders or elderly people are advising, thinking that maybe there will be a change of mind, but the youths have no time.” Nworgu pointed out that the marginalization of the Ndigbo has been on the increase after the civil war. His words: “It has been very bad since 1970, but under Buhari, it has been exacerbated and his attitude and utterances are not helping matters. In fact, Buhari is even acting to provoke us into taking a wrong step and to have a reason for a clampdown. So, we are advising our youths to calm down based on the mindset of our president. When he was appointed I said Ndigbo will desire a president who will be president to all Nigerians because nepotism is corruption.” He said Buhari’s negligence of the Igbo became manifest when he made his first 32 appointments, but left the Igbo with nothing. “There are many sectors of governance but when you have taken all the plum things, put them under your town’s people, what do you expect the other people to do, they will feel excluded. That is why Ndigbo are not happy with his administration,” he said. Nworgu who spoke on Thursday said Ndigbo knew ab initio the antecedent of Buhari, and that made them to support former President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 presidential election. He said they have no regrets in supporting Jonathan. On the ban of the youth wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, he said the action was justified, maintaining that “there has been immense rascality by members of the youth wing and the parent body was not satisfied with what was happening and a committee was set up under Prof Atamuo to investigate the activities of these young people who are supposedly tomorrow’s leaders. When their report came out and it was presented to NEC and NEC felt that the report was so damaging that it needs not go public; so NEC decided to take the young wing out of action. So, we resolved that the youth wing be suspended.
However, the youth leaders who told Saturday Sun that they have reconciled their differences accused Nworgu and the president general of chastising them as their tenure of office would expire in 2019, saying that their travails were not unconnected with alleged sum of money the parent body got from Dasuki. But Nworgu said: “No money came to Ohanaeze from Dasuki, Ohanaeze knows nothing about Dasuki’s money, but a drowning man can fabricate anything.” When told that the youth leaders claimed to have video evidence of the Dasuki money, he said: “That is still the height of the rascality we are talking about. For anybody to conceptualise such rubbish; Ohanaeze got no money from Dasuki.” On the hand over date in January, he assured that new officers would be elected and his regime would hand over to them in January. He disclosed that the body would soon call for the Ime-Obi meeting and the date for the election determined, saying that there was no more crisis in Ohanaeze.

IPOB: MUHAMMADU BUHARI AND HIS DESPERATION TO STOP BIAFRA By Onyeka Okeke For Family Writers

Muhammadu Buhari.
Muhammadu Buhari had tried in the past to stop the Radio Biafra, immediately he was sworn in as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Buhari swung into action with all the apparatus within his disposal. His first target was to stop the Radio Biafra, in which he spent a staggering, mouth gaping and mouth watering amount of money. About 70 Million dollars of the Nigerian hard earned tax payers money, which he distributed to the Minister of Information and the Nigerian Broadcasting Co-operation, NBC.
These groups of idiots tried all they could but they failed to dismantle and stop Radio Biafra. Buhari in his usual way of doing things sacked some of the Directors of the Nigerian Broadcasting Co-operation. He employed some unscrupulous elements in the persons of the Governors of the eastern states to help him to achieve his dubious purposes, and again all their effort proved abortive.
Nevertheless, he unconstitutionally used the DSS which is not known to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria headed by the tyrant Buhari and his brother Momman Daura, to arrest Nnamdi Kanu; and he equally used the joint armed forces to kill unarmed Biafrans protesting for their freedom with the intention of stopping the Biafran restoration. Buhari again became a loser because Biafra is indestructible.
One thing that Buhari forgot to get into his skull, is that Biafra is God's Project. Just like in the case of the Israelites in Egypt, when Moses announced and sounded to the then King of Egypt to let his People go. Pheroah refused, which precipitated the plague that destroyed the Land of Egypt, still there first born sons were all killed by the angel of death.
Buhari’s desperation to stop the restoration of Biafra have run the economy of Nigeria aground, today just like the Egypt, the plegue is severe in Nigeria yet the Pedophile is less bordered.
Buhari has again drafted in more than 3.5 billion naira and have paid some agencies which can help him with information on how to destroy and stop the Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB). It has been revealed that since the inception of Buhari as the President of Nigeria, he has spent about 2 trillion naira to destroy IPOB.
IPOB is still intact despite trillions of naira earmarked by Buhari's government to create problems by infiltrating their ranks. Some of the agencies which has received and are beneficiary of this Blood money to kill and infiltrate IPOB are as follows : 1) the Ohaneze Ndigbo 2) the Ogbako Ikwerre. 3) several Religious Organisations in Biafra land including the Yoruba Churches. 4) the DSS, POLICE and the Army. 5) Ethnic Leaders.
What keep baffling the Presidency, according to a close source is the resolute, formidable and the determination of this group called IPOB and their leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. According to our sources ; we learnt that BUHARI'S Sickness is Biafra and he is ready to spend all tax payers money to silence or stop the Biafran struggle.
Today, all the Federal Institutions have been crippled by Buhari in order to stop this God's Project. Nigerians are suffering, people are dieing. Buhari's CV is known to be a failure.
The ghost of the Biafrans whom he killed are after him. He thought that by arresting and Indicting Business men in Biafra land, he will stop Biafra. It is Biafra or death.

ECOWAS COURT FULL REPORT : NIGERIA GOVERNMENT ABSCONDS FROM COURT HAVING FAILED TO MANIPULATE THE JUDGES.

The indigenous people of Biafra took the Nigerian government to ECOWAS court today demanding for justice for the unlawful detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu; but surprisingly, the Nigerian Defense Council absconded from the court sitting.
However, they submitted a letter only this morning claiming they have a case in Kaduna, as the sole reason for their absence.
At the beginning of the court session, Nigerian government, through the Minister of Justice applied for adjournment. There was a short interrogation between the ECOWAS judge, Hon. Justice Friday Nwoke and Nnamdi Kanu’s Counsel, Barr. Ifeanyi Ejioffor.
Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor pleaded to be given compensation of one million naira, as a result of his wasted transportation fare. He also pleaded for short adjournment of the trial. His pleas were granted, and the case was adjourned to November 8 2016. According to the presiding judge, the proceedings must hold on November 8 whether the Nigerian government appears in court or not.
Having known that ECOWAS court will humiliate them today, the Nigerian government refused to show up in court. Since the beginning of this court case this is the first time that the federal government has refused to appear in court.
Meanwhile, evidence abounds that the Nigeria government, having failed to manipulate the judges just as it has been their trademark in Nigerian courts, having now decided to run away from their shadow- But for how long?
The action of the Nigerian government at today’s ECOWAS court proceedings signifies that they have been manipulating Nigerian courts. It portrays the level of incompetency in the Nigeria judiciary, which prompted Nnamdi Kanu to seek for justice at ECOWAS court.
Nigeria courts are not a place where someone whose right have been trampled upon seeks redress and get justice. No wonder Nnamdi Kanu said during one of his court trials:
” I will not receive a fair trial before this court. The information I got is that I will not receive a fair trial before this court.“I will not sacrifice the due process of law because of speedy court process over the principle of natural process on the altar of speedy release. In other words, I would rather remain in detention than subject myself to a trial that I know amounts to perversion of justice.
“Your lordship, previous court rulings have been given by courts of competent jurisdiction in this country, Nigeria which were not carried out by the DSS.”

Buhari has vowed never to respect court rulings which have ordered for the immediate releases of Nnamdi Kanu. It should also be recalled that during one of the court trials of Nnamdi Kanu, the presiding judge, Justice Mohammed, while exempting himself from the trial frowned on the repeated violations of court orders by the Federal Government to release Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally.
The world is watching the insincerity of Nigeria government in this case as we urge all the world leaders , EU parliament, UN , ECOWAS court, to rise and shun the continuous autocratic tendencies of Buhari and his government.

BUHARI’S LIMITED UNDERSTANDING OF A REFERENDUM PROCESS: TIME TO EDUCATE HIM ON WHAT REFERENDUM IS ALL ABOUT.

Barrister Emma Nmezu
We are cognizant of the educational limitations of Retired Major-General Muhammadu Buhari especially as he does not have any evidence of having completed secondary education nor is there any record of his West African School Certificate (WASC), a certificate that is statutorily issued by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) upon writing the WAEC exams in chosen subjects. We also know that from the day Buhari committed treason, which was on 31st December 1983, to the present day, he has not engaged in any formal education to improve his knowledge base quite unlike Retired General Yakubu Gowon who went back to school after he (Gowon) was overthrown by Buhari and his military colleagues on July 29, 1975.
It is therefore, not surprising that Buhari displayed his shallow understanding of a Referendum process through his utterances during a media event in New York City--USA, on September 24, 2016. Buhari was reported to have asserted that there will not be Referendum for Biafra independence. If we assume that the various media reporting of this assertion from Buhari is true, then there is no better way to exhibit ignorance on the typology and application of the concept of Referendum. We will like to use this opportunity to educate and enlighten Buhari and his ilks on Referendum.
Referendum is a method of expression of the will of the people in matters concerning their welfare, existence, and association. A Referendum is created normatively by an act of Parliament (Legislature) and is not dependent on the aversions or preferences of the President or Executive Arm of Government. For instance, the Scottish Independence Referendum Act 2013 which led to the Referendum vote of September 18, 2014 was passed by the Scottish Parliament on 14th of November 2013. Even the Scottish Parliament itself was brought into existence through the Scottish Devolution (pre-legislative) Referendum of 11 September 1997. In France, the Jacobin Constitution was adopted in 1793 through a Referendum and Article-3 of the French Constitution of 1958 internalized Referendum as a bulwark to engender any change of policy and philosophy of the Fifth Republic and for the benefits of her citizens.
United Kingdom, the god that created Nigeria recognizes Referendum and uses the Parliament to superintend and put into force any Referendum that it undertakes such as the European Communities Membership Referendum of 1975 and the Alternative Vote Referendum of 2011. It is interesting to note that Referenda are held even in brutal dictatorial regimes similar to the one Buhari is running in Nigeria today. A good example being the case Greece under Colonel Georgios Papadopoulos who successfully conducted a Referendum on November 15, 1968.
In Africa, examples abound where several countries conducted Referendum through the instrumentality of the Legislative Arm of Government or at the behest of the citizenry. A few examples include Eritrea in April 1993, Egypt on 19th of March 2011, and Morocco on June 1, 2011. Beyond Africa, Bangladesh had Referendum on September 15, 1991 while East Timor had a Referendum on their independence on the 30th of August 1999.

In all these historical backgrounds and lucid examples of the concept, ownership, and application of Referendum, it is very clear to everyone that Buhari does not know or understand what Referendum is all about. In a presidential system like the one practiced in Nigeria, Referendum process is not subject to the dictates of the Presidency or Executive Arm of Government. In other words, Buhari has no business or legal right or claimed superiority to determine if there will be Referendum or not. Even the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People (UNDRIP) is unequivocal on the inalienable rights of Indigenous People to decide on how they want to govern themselves. Affirmatively, Nigeria as a member of the African Union has domesticated the UNDRIP.
While we feel sorry for Muhammadu Buhari because he is deficient in knowledge and understanding of the concept of Referendum due to lack of grounded education, however, we believe that he should have consulted with his aides and his political appointees who are supposedly educated enough and abreast of the thinking behind the concept of Referendum. They should have tutored him well enough to make him understand that the Presidency cannot make any sweeping statement on Referendum because it lies within the domains of the Legislature or at the behest of the citizenry.
Considering his aforesaid educational limitations, we therefore call on Buhari to be more circumspect in his future public utterances especially as they relate to issues bordering on governance and intellectual discourse of this sort. The concept of Referendum is beyond the intellectual capacity and comprehension of Muhamadu Buhari who coincidentally happens to be the least educated among all the presidents/leaders of any country on this planet earth.
We re-assert that if at all Biafrans decide to choose Referendum as an option to exit from Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari cannot stop it, Q.E.D.

Enugu Residents, Others Bombard Nigerian Radio Stations With Calls In Protest Of Kanu's Illness

From neighbouring states took to the Radio this morning to protest the continued incarceration of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, over recent threats to his life and well-being.
The irate people who made an influx of protest calls to Solid 100.9FM blasting in the heartbeat of Enugu metropolis, Benue and some South-South states, vowed that Nigeria will never remain the same should anything happen to the IPOB leader.
The torrents of call came after the Radio station in its weekly program, “Newspaper Review,” which spans from 7 am to 7:45 am, read out a headline from the Nigerian dailies saying that “Nnamdi Kanu is critically ill.”
It was reported that the Indigenous People of Biafra raised alarm that its detained leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was critically ill following the recent crises which resulted to a shoot-out in Kuje prison where Kanu is currently being held.
The report said that during the Kuje prison fracas, the prison authorities and the warders shot couple of poisonous teargas canisters into Kanu’s private cell with the intention to suffocate him.
IPOB through its spokespersons has further warned that they won’t take it easily with the world if Kanu’s present condition deteriorates. Obviously irritated with the recent development, the callers to the radio station asked for the immediate and unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu, vowing that Nigeria will collapse if he dies in detention.
One of the callers simply identified as Anthony stated that Nnamdi Kanu is his mentor and leader, adding that “if anything happens to him in Kuje prison, there will be a huge catastrophe in Nigeria.”
Another caller who beckoned on the Nigerian government to release Nnamdi Kanu as a matter of urgency, assured that Nigeria would be destroyed completely if anything bad happens to the detained leader.
country, he said; “This Zoo(Nigeria) will be razed down, and we don’t want to shed blood, we don’t like shedding blood but if they want to try us, all the Zoo people (Nigerians) will go off,” he fumed.
Another caller who cautioned the Federal government simply said: “They threw in five teargas canisters into his cell to suffocate him, now he is sick, if anything happens to him, that would signal the end of Nigeria.
“We are civilized people, begging the people in power to behave like one and not to bring the nation down with bloodshed, it’s not fair,” he stated.
Another caller, Okafor, who queried why the Federal government is still keeping Nnamdi Kanu in detention since they announced that he has denounced Biafra stated that “even the cripple on the streets will turn averse against the country if Kanu dies,” adding that the government should be wise now.
“The blood of Nnamdi Kanu will not be an exchange for Biafra, we’ll not take it just like that if this man dies. Please I beg now, if he dies, I’ll also die,” another caller laments.
A new caller into the program who said he has been listening but has never called said he decided to do so because of this issue. He admonished Buhari to release Nnamdi Kanu, saying that he should be more civilized than been forceful.
He further asked why he is lacking wisdom and acting as an anti-democratic president. It was further noted that while all these was happening, many other people took to Twitter and other social media protesting for Kanu’s release.
All these happens to coincide with the “#Free Nnamdi Kanu Campaign,” recently launched by the Indigenous People of Biafra, which saw different Nigerian currency notes and even currency notes used by other countries of the western world with inscriptions like “#Free Biafra, #Free Nnamdi Kanu.” People noted that this campaign strategy is unprecedented.

Crimes of GENOCIDE Committed by NIGERIA Against IGBO/Biafrans

Crimes of GENOCIDE Committed by NIGERIA on the IGBO/Biafrans
1945 Northern Moslems kill HUNDREDS of IGBO civilians in the Northern city of JOS and loot their properties worth hundreds of millions of dollars!
1953 Northern Moslems pounce on IGBO civilians in the Northern city of KANO, THOUSANDS of IGBO men and women are killed and their property worth in the hundreds of millions are looted!
1966 * MAY * JULY * SEPTEMBER *
(The worst pogrom in all of Africa up to that time!)
Band of killers, mostly Moslems, in all Hamlets, Villages, Towns and Cities in Northern Nigeria carried out one of the most barbaric pogroms in contemporary history against the Igbo living in Northern Nigeria. At the end of three waves of all-out massacres, HUNDRED THOUSAND IGBO (and other Easterner Nigerians) were slaughtered.
Among the dead were men and women of all ages, as well as children. Unborn fetuses were not spared during these three months when armed marauders prowled everywhere outside of Eastern Nigeria, hunting Igbo people down like animals: Pregnant Igbo women were captured, their bellies ripped open and their unborn children hacked to death.
1967 In July, a Northern led army declared war on the Igbo/Easterners in their homeland in Southeastern Nigeria who, out of utter shock at the pogrom unleashed against the Igbo, had concluded that Easterners/Igbo were not wanted in the Nigerian Federation and had declared the Eastern Region the independent Republic of Biafra. By the time the war ended in January 1970, more than FIVE MILLION IGBO people, including over a million children had died.
Many of the dead, especially children, had died of starvation, a result of the deliberate policy of the Nigerian government, which had imposed a total land, sea and air blockade of Biafra, prohibiting even food and medical deliveries to the war zone!
Since 1980 thousands of Igbo have continued to be attacked and massacred!
1980 Northern City of KANO!
1982 Northern City of MAIDUGURI!
1984 Northern City of YOLA!
1985 Northern City of GOMBE!
1986 Northern Cities of KADUNA and KAFANCHAN!
1991 Northern Cities of BAUCHI, KATSINA and KANO!
1992 Northern City of ZANGO KATAF!
1993 Northern City of FUNTUA!
1994 Northern City of KANO!
....
2000 (Feb.) More than 3000 CHRISTIANS which included more than 2000 IGBO were slaughtered in cold blood by Northern MOSLEM FANATICS in the Northern City of KADUNA!
2000 (Apr.) Northern City of DAMBOA!
WHAT ABOUT PRESENT? THE KILLINGS OF IGBO CONTINUE IN THE MOHAMMEDAN EMIRATE OF THE NORTH.
THE LIST IS ENDLESS BUT WE SHALL BRING THEM TO YOUR SITES.
