Awo-Idemili Inaugurates New DSS Base to Enhance Security in Orsu LGA
Awo-Idemili, located in Orsu Local Government Area, witnessed a significant step in bolstering regional security with the inauguration of a new Department of State Services (DSS) base at Ekeubahaeze. The strategic location of the new base, less than 500 meters from the ESN/BLA camp at Produce, underscores the government's commitment to restoring peace and curbing criminal activities in the area.
During the ceremony, security authorities called on the public to actively support the fight against crime by providing critical information. Citizens in Orsu, Ihiala, and across Igboland are encouraged to report any criminal activities, including details such as names, phone numbers, photos, home addresses, and associations of suspects.
A government representative emphasized the importance of collaboration between the public and security agencies, assuring residents that the government is listening and prepared to act decisively on credible intelligence.
