Kingsley ‘Kanunta’ Kanu, brother of Nnamdi Kanu, founder of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Tuoesday, told the international community that the Nigerian Government has been “misleading” them.  Biafra: Buhari Told To Release Nnamdi Kanu Immediately, Stop Destruction Of South-East. Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, on Sunday, said President Muhammadu Buhari and his administration must release the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu forthwith, and stop “long term destruction of the South-East”.
